Artist Quote:  Flow into the light or sink into the dark,  your choice

Darkness or Light was created in 2017.  Sculpted and painted to reflect my colors of darkness and light.  The canvas was made by grabbing a few handfuls of my shredded paper (mostly junk mail and old bills); soaking the paper in water over night; blending into a paper smoothie; and placing it into a large bin of water.  I then used a 10" x 10" screen to pull pieces of paper from the water.  The finished piece consisted of two sheets of the homemade paper.  - Tammy
