Macro Photography Date with Tammy J McLain

So I have started playing this super addictive game called GuruShots (you can join by clicking the name).  They have some fund photo competitions and the photos from this shoot were for the the Macro Magic contest.

I wrapped up my work day, gathered my camera and was just about to walk out the door when the rain started. I thought hey this is Colorado and the rain will only be a sprinkle.  Nope I was wrong.  The rain was much more then I bargained for.  So I went back to the studio pouting and complaining to God about how he knew I wanted to do a photo shoot.

Back at the studio, I did a couple indoor shots of a fun lady bug rock, and close ups of "The Elven Eye".  Then I moved to the patio and saw that God wasn't trying to ruin my photo shoot... that in fact the rain drops were gorgeous.....  Sorry God I exclaimed as I felt foolish for complaining and honestly feeling like a complete brat.  That sorry quickly moved into a THANK YOU God!  because the photos I found were so cool.  The rain drops sparkled and really made for a fun photo shoot.

p.s. -I would love any feedback you have.  Which photos should I put in the store, do you have any thoughts on names (honestly naming my photos and art is one of the hardest jobs), do you have a photo idea you want me to try out, or did you join the game? if so follow me and I will follow you :)

Day 5

my creativity woke me up out of a dead sleep. Not the creativity of an art piece but the creativity of how to streamline some accounting procedures at the office. And wouldn’t you know it, my idea worked and we are going to be able to save 6 -8 hours a month of busy work. 😁😎👍

Day 6

Updated my website by adding purchasing options for my Darkness or Light piece. Hoping to do this weekly until I get all of my work linked up with purchase options.

Day 7 - shared my weekly adventures on my Blog. - Tammy
